Behavior School Aides
Our Behavior School Aides provide behavior support in schools and assist with students who may have behavioral or academic learning challenges. Our BCBA supervisors provide weekly supervision to review fidelity and monitor progress for the students we support. Behavior intervention plans (BIP) are written and implemented to reduce challenging behavior and ensure students are successful in the least-restrictive environment.
BCBA Consultation & Training
Our experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) are knowledgeable about the science of behavior change and well versed in the structures of class and home settings. We also are able to provide training, pragmatic and effective programming, and assistance to support teachers, district aides, and school administrators.
School aides & RBT Trainings and certifications
The job of a school district aides can be a challenging position depending on the complexity of the students and the needs they present. Presently, districts are facing higher numbers of students presenting with challenging behaviors that can disrupt the learning environment for all students. Higher support needs students may require districts to provide additional training and support to manage difficult situations. In addition to providing our RBT aides, we also are happy to support and train district aides so they can respond more effectively to the wide range of student needs that currently face school districts. Our RBT training and certifications process will allow your district aides to receive the necessary training and supervision to handle high support needs students with in-house staff, providing a more cost-effective way to support your students.
Executive Functioning
Executive functioning skills are responsible for managing and regulating behavior, thoughts, and emotions. Adulting is hard and requires a lot of management and regulation! Although the basic development of executive function begins in early childhood, it continues to develop well into adulthood. Support and intervention to develop these skills can help individuals flourish in many areas of their life. Our model uses behavioral science techniques to help individuals flourish and manage themselves and their environment.
BxM Classroom Model
We provide certified special education teachers and RBT aides that utilize behavioral and educational best practices for early intervention, mild-moderate, moderate-severe and counseling enchriched classrooms. Our models are data-driven and utilize data-based learning decisions. The model includes differentiated instruction, academic and behavioral goals, training and consultation to teachers, district staff and administration so they can build the necessary infrastructure to respond to the complex learning challenges that educators face daily in the their classrooms.
Functional Behavior Assessments
We provide functional behavior assessments (FBA’s) for individuals with challenging behaviors. We utilize direct and indirect assessments that include Antecedent-Behavior-Consequence analysis, teacher/parent/staff/student interviews and direct observations that are part of a comprehensive behavior intervention plan (BIP). Behavior intervention plans and goals are designed for in-home and school settings.
Independent Education plan (IEP)
Our team is well versed in working with IEP teams and collaborating with years of experience in writing reports, and goals, updating progress, and attending IEP meetings. Our team knows the intricacies of working with parents and school staff to meet the needs of students.
Job Coaching
Job coaching is an effective method in helping individuals recognize their unique strengths and identify their values. Our coaches can help individuals get organized, find employment, apply for jobs, and increase confidence in achieving professional goals. We believe that we all deserve to be happily employed no matter the learning differences. Using evidence-based strategies, our job coaches help you unleash your potential.
