Give your child a leg up in learning with ABA!

Applied behavior analysis is an evidence-based treatment method for understanding and modifying behavior. Although it is a widely recognized treatment for autism spectrum disorder (ASD), it can also be used to support all individuals in learning and building health habits.

ABA is highly individualized and tailored to meet the unique needs of each person. Services can be provided in a variety of settings, including the home, school, and community.

Here are some ways ABA can support learning:

  1. Develop new skills: ABA teaches new skills by breaking them down into smaller steps and providing positive reinforcement for each step. This is great while teaching skills such as communication, socialization, self-care, self-management, and more.

  1. Reduce problem behaviors: ABA helps to reduce challenging behaviors such as aggression, self-injurious or non-compliance. A systematic approach is used to identify the functions of the behavior and then teach alternative, more appropriate behaviors.
